Restaurant PanMouR ViLLa ShaH ALaM
Panmour Villa is actually a hotel at shop-houses with restaurant at ground level. My family used to dine in here, but it is way back when i was younger.
Last Monday, my mum crave for ice kacang, at 10 o'clock at night!!! So, we went out and drive in wander, in search of ABC in Shah Alam. As we reached the bridge crossing the Federal Highway, thats when we remember about Panmour Villa. It is located at seksyen 20, across the KPJ Selangor Hospital.
Nothing special about the ambience of the restaurant except for the pineapple-arrange tiles on the wall.
When i browse through the laminated menus, the prices seem pretty cheap. No wonder there are many people having their late supper here. There was even these 1Malaysian Guys, all three of them ordered the Murtabak.
However, when our orders arrived, the portions are small. The chicken chop look tempting, but later i found out the skin covered the major part. Same goes to the fish and chip, the fish meat was very thin, and it is the batter and the bread crumps that make it look thick.
Chicken Chop (RM10.00)
Fish n Chips (RM8.50)
The garlic bread is very disappointing with negligible amount of garlic spread. Look at the mushroom soup, and you do the judge.
(vvvveeeerrrrryyy liquideeee) -_-
Mushroom soup(RM3.50) and Garlic Bread (RM2.50)
xnampak pon mane garlic spread nye kan?
The saviour of the night would be the ABC.. It come up quite nice, with well balance sweetness, but lack of corn. isk..isk..sik..
Ice kacang (RM3.50)
Overall, my mum is very happy course she gets her craving ABC.. but needless to say, i may come for hangin out with friends, lepaking like we do at mamaks, but not for the food. unless someone suggest what is really special in their menu. The restaurant is halal, but my mum was not happy with the waiters and workers, most of them are foreign immigrants, some of them have tattos and do not speak well neither in English nor Malay.
P/s: Food critics are based solely on the author's personal opinion.. She really savor good food. so dont be liver dystrophy, okie (kecik hati)..lalala
