My brother bought it from Terengganu..
Bird Nest Candy or Gegule Sarang Burung got its name from the appearance, which almost all Malay cuisine does follow. Example Kuih putu piring (plate), putu bambu (bamboo), roti jala (like fish net), kuih taik itik, well u got the point~.
But i personally like Dragon's Beard Candy (Gegule Misai Naga), because it contain nuts, while this Bird Nest Candy only made of flour and sugar..
Dragon Beard Candy can be found at small stall in Midvalley or Sunway Pyramid, while Bird Nest Candy is sold in Terengganu and Kelantan.

Ha, yang gegule misai naga nie..pernah makan x? tapi kalao makan nie, seyes macam budak kecik comot sebab gule2 nie tersangat rapuh, pastu berselerak kacang2 die jatuh.. kankan..
When i was a little girl, i called those candy as 'gegule tarik'..because when u eat them, it tend to be stretchy. but found out later that 'gegule tarik' is this:
